Does my general liability or BOP cover cyber claims?

No. Modern general liability and BOP policies expressly exclude cyber and data-related losses; the older "electronic data" provisions some policies carry only respond to physical damage to a tangible computer, not to digital theft, ransomware, or breach notification costs. Cyber is its own product. If a broker tells you "your BOP has cyber built in," ask to see the limit (it's usually $25K–$50K), the trigger language, and the specific cyber-related coverages — most BOP cyber endorsements are notification-only and stop well short of what an actual incident costs.
