How do I switch brokers?
Request a Broker of Record (BOR) letter, which is a one-page authorization signed by the policyholder naming a new broker and revoking the prior broker's authority. Once signed and dated, it goes to the carrier(s), which switches the broker of record for the named policies effective immediately. The transition typically completes in 1–3 business days; current policies remain in force throughout.
