Standard auto-accident protocol with two business-specific additions. (1) Get medical attention, call police if anyone is hurt or vehicles need to be moved, exchange information, photograph everything, get witness contacts, do not admit fault. (2) Notify the commercial auto carrier and us as soon as you can — ideally within 24 hours. (3) For commercial vehicles in NY, file the no-fault claim form (NF-2) within 30 days even if no one appears injured — late no-fault filings get denied. (4) Don't accept any "we'll fix it cash" arrangements with the other party; let the carriers handle it.
