What's the difference between cyber liability and tech E&O?

Cyber liability covers your exposure to cyber incidents — your data, your systems, your patients. Tech E&O (technology errors & omissions) covers liability you cause to your clients' systems through your professional services as a technology provider — building software that introduces a vulnerability, an IT consultant misconfiguring a client's network, a SaaS company's breach affecting customers' data. Some "tech E&O" products bundle both; others are standalone. Healthcare practices typically need cyber liability only; healthtech vendors and IT/EHR consultants need tech E&O (usually combined with general E&O).
