Do I need professional liability if I provide a physical service rather than advice?

Yes. Professional liability (also called errors and omissions) covers claims that your service — not just your advice — was performed negligently and caused harm or loss. A personal trainer whose program injures a client, a cleaning service that causes property damage through improper technique, or a beautician who causes a chemical burn all face professional liability claims, not just general liability claims.
